- Founded in 2016
- There are two associations in the field of PP in Finland: The Finnish Philosophical Practice Network (Filosofisen praktiikan verkosto ry, ”Five”) and Interbaas.
- Network is part of the international philosophical practice movement and Nordic philosophical practice network.

Goals of the Finnish Philosophical Practice Network:
- To improve and develop professional PP activities and knowledge in Finland and support international networking
- To strive to promote PP education and studies in Finland
- To act as ethical advisor in PP
- To execute these goals the association organizes PP activities, discussions, seminars, events and meetings, and by publishing and other means that improve PP in Finland.

17 years of Philosophical Practice Training in Finland
- Organized by Kriittinen korkeakoulu (”Critical Open University”), since 2009
- A private and independent course centre since 1968, maintained by the association ”Kriittinen Korkeakoulu ry”. It was founded in 1968 at the initiative of philosopher Reijo Wilenius to diversify the atmosphere of public discussion.
- The Critical Open University organizes courses and trainings open to everyone in the fields of arts, philosophy and other sciences, and conducts lectures and publications.
- In cooperation with Sivis Study Centre, it is a nationwide adult education provider that is partly funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Sivis is maintained by the Association for Educational Activities (AEA).
- Main teacher of the training programme is Pia Houni
- Duration around 1,5 years. 150 hours of lessons. Also independent studies and practice, online meetings.
- As a whole 40 course credits in Finland
- Vocational/adult further education status
