Following the previous meetings (Copenhagen 2011, Stockholm 2012, Oslo 2013), the general topic of the Fourth Nordic Conference on Philosophical Practice in Helsinki is meaningful life:<\/p>\n
What does a meaningful life look like? How can it be identified and how does it feel? How can philosophy contribute to living a meaningful life? This conference calls for contributions that explore the meaningful life from the perspective of philosophical practice. How can philosophical practice promote good life – especially in today\u2019s society? Can philosophical discussion and practices support the goals of good life? What if everything doesn\u2019t go well \u2013 how does philosophy help or support in life\u2019s mishaps?<\/p>\n
We invite papers for 30 minutes presentations. We also invite live demonstrations of philosophical practice. You are welcome to organize a practical session. If we have enough demonstrations, we might organize a simultaneous program.<\/p>\n
Send a 200 words abstract or a short idea-paper for demonstration group to\u00a0pia.houni@uta.fi<\/a>.
